Richmond Car Parking Survey

JUNE 2015
Tasman District Council is planning to undertake a District Car Parking Strategy, focussing primarily on Richmond and Motueka. Richmond Unlimited as a key stakeholder in this strategy. By completing the Car Parking Survey, Richmond businesses  can feed information to the Council Engineering staff to help them in their drafting of the Car Park Strategy. This is a great opportuity to help inform and shape the strategy.
The Strategy is a long-term document and will be looking at issues such as provision of private parking, all day parking, compliance by those parking in short-term parking spots, paying for parking including leasing of parks to businesses, parking meters and parking buildings. As the Strategy will cover 30 years, we need to take into account that a different level of parking may be required then.
The Council will be looking at short-term as well as long-term strategies.
This survey will only take 3-5 minutes of your time….

Thank you for your time
