The stage will come alive with a Aotearoa fashion show, fire poi act, live music, storytelling and traditional Maori performances.
We hope you are hungry as there is a traditional hangi, fried bread and other delicious food.
Matariki heralds the Maori New Year, when the seven stars of Matariki (Pleiades) rise in the sky. Traditionally it is a time of remembrance and a celebration of the harvest and new life – a time for singing, dancing and feasting.
