Plunket is a charity, and New Zealand’s largest provider of services to support the health and development of children under-five.

We see over 90% of all Kiwi kids, and are committed making sure every single one has the opportunity to be as healthy and well as they can be.

We are also dedicated to building the confidence and knowledge of families across New Zealand, and making sure none are left isolated, disconnected or unable to cope.

Our Plunket Nurses offer parenting information and support, as well as developmental assessments of your child through home and clinic visits, mobile clinics and PlunketLine 0800 933 922 (a free 24/7 telephone advice service for parents).

We also organise parent groups, parenting education, toy libraries, drop in centres, play groups, early childhood education and education in schools – most of which are available nationwide.
